Micro mobility app

As the product designer, I tailored our white-label mobility app to the client’s needs, translating their brand book into a cohesive design system and adapting existing features for public transport, micro-mobility, and car rentals — while adding new ones on top.

Adapting the brand into a custom design system

The project started by translating the client’s brand into a functional design system within our white-label framework, applying colors, typography, and icons to existing components.

I also designed logos for all transport providers, the app’s splash art, and other visuals to create a cohesive mobility experience.

Tailoring the user experience

After setting the foundations, I adapted the core white-label product to the client’s needs, designing the splash art, onboarding screens, legal flows, and account setup from the user’s perspective. Each step was tailored to reflect the client’s tone while keeping the experience clear and intuitive.

Evolving the product into a complete mobility solution

Next, I extended the core product for mobility, integrating multiple payment options for a fast, seamless checkout. I adapted route search and user settings for personalized travel and tailored onboarding and interfaces for e-bikes, scooters, and car-sharing, keeping each brand’s identity consistent.

I also supported the Park & Ride initiative to enable a more connected, sustainable travel ecosystem.

Results and learnings

The app is currently in a closed group testing mode, with a planned public launch at the end of November.

Adapting a brand book to a white-label product showed that even small tweaks can have wide-reaching effects. Every color, component, and feature had to be evaluated for consistency, and some client needs even prompted updates to our core components. Balancing customization with system integrity emphasized collaboration, clear communication, and designing solutions that work across the entire ecosystem.
